Living in Japan has given me the chance to embrace two of my greatest passions — sewing and storytelling. While many people know me as the tailor behind Bonds of Peace, what some may not realize is that I’m also an author, pouring my heart into stories that people can read, share, and treasure just as deeply as the keepsakes I create.

Every day, I balance motherhood, creativity, and craft. My daughter inspires me to see beauty in small things — the colors of a sunrise, the gentle patterns on kimono fabrics, the magic in everyday life here in Japan. Those moments shape both my writing and my sewing.

As a tailor, I transform cherished memories into tangible keepsakes: quilts, ornaments, Kinchaku bags, memory animals, and more. As an author, I weave emotional threads into stories that resonate, uplift, and inspire.
